The Chill of Death, sampling Mingus

The Chill of Death
As she clenched my hand
I knew she was coming
so I stood like a man
She drew up closer until
I could see her face
And I began to wonder
Hadn't I seen her
in some other place
She called for me
to move closer
As if to pay an old debt
But I knew it wasn't my time yet
This was not my year
Thank fucking Christ
its a leap year
